Class 103(5) A hook-type coupler has an extension 7 integral with a secured to the hook 1 and which is acted on by the plate 8 to raise the hook. The plate 8 is rotated by a transverse rod 10 provided with an operating handle 11 and the extension 7 is so shaped that the weight of the hook 1 will maintain the plate 8 in its raised position.
