Abstract

763,778. Couplings for vehicles. WEEKS, F., and WEEKS, H. Jan. 19, 1955, No. 1680/55. Class 103(5). A towing arm 1 has an apertured end lug 2 and a bar 4 pivoted at 7 so that when in the position shown the aperture 5 corresponds with the aperture 3 to form a fork end fitting and when rotated through 180 degrees the eye 6 projects beyond the end of the lug 2 for engagement of a hook or fork end fitting on a tractor. The bolt 8 inserted through holes 5 or 9 secures the bar in position.
