870,473. Aerials. WOLSEY ELECTRONICS Ltd. Nov. 23, 1959 [Nov. 10, 1958], No. 35987/58. Class 40(7) A dual-band aerial comprises a tubular dipole A, B, resonant in the higher frequency band, and a second dipole C, D, resonant in the lower band, the centre portion of the second dipole being mounted inside the tubular dipole. Bolts E, F secure together the elements of the dipoles and a feeder is connected at G, H. The assembly may be encased in an insulating sheath. Directors and reflectors of lengths appropriate to the higher and lower frequency bands, respectively may be provided. The aerial may operate on more than one frequency in one band.
