869,871. Silencing and purifying charge; cooling cylinders. PORSCHE, F. Aug. 28, 1959 [Sept. 13, 1958], No. 29422/59. Class 7(2). The welded-up sheet metal casing 10, 11 of a cooling-air blower 5 is extended beyond one delivery scroll 18 to form a silencing chamber 23 between a charge air entry filter 29 and a rubber connector 34 to a carburetter 37. Alternatively, the chamber 23 may be structurally separate from the blower 5. A second chamber 23 may be associated with the other scroll 7, and each duct may be connected to one or several carburetters.
