868,904. Roller bearings. DURKOPPWERKE A.G. Oct. 17, 1959, No. 35217/59. Class 12 (1). A cage for a roller bearing having inner and outer race rings, one of which has rollerretaining flanges 7, comprises a ring 1 of resilient synthetic plastic material having thereon integral rollerseparating bridge-pieces 4 which project laterally so that, as the cage is inserted axially between the inner and outer races, the bridgepieces are compressed by the flanges 7 and on further insertion resile and project behind the flanges to prevent the withdrawal of the cage. The cage is in two parts each tapering to end faces having projections and sockets 5, 6. In assembling the bearings, the rollers and races are positioned and each cage-part is snapped past a flange 7.
