[Also in Group XVII] Fruit or vegetables are preserved in a liquid medium M in a container comprising an inner receptacle A of basket form and a transparent impervious outer receptacle C having an airtight closure O of tinfoil and a replaceable lid P of plastics material. The outer receptacle may be of glass or plastics material; and the inner receptacle, of polyethylene, is vacuumsealed and has a rubber ring N inset in its rim. Skewers L are for extracting the fruit.
