Abstract

866,128. Fertiliser distributers. WEBB Ltd., ERNEST A., and LAMB, P. G. Dec. 29, 1959 [Sept. 29, 1958]; No. 31049/68. Class 6(1). A centrifugal fertiliser distributer is provided with a rotary feed wheel 41 for receiving material from the hopper 61 and to rotary impeller 57 co-axial with the feed wheel for distributing the material over the ground, the feed wheel being driven at a substantially slower rotatement speed than the impeller. As shown land wheels 30 are mounted on two half, shafts 28, 29, the impeller 57 being driven by gearing from the shaft 28 and the wheel 41 being driven from the shaft 29. The hopper 61 is provided with an adjustable, collar 66 which may be raised or lowered by a hand-lever to vary the amount of material released by the collar. Specification 796,702 is referred to.
