Abstract

A terminal assembly comprises a conducting body of channel cross-section having a flat underside and two aligned channel parts 2 separated by recesses formed by stamping or pressing out opposite portions 3 from the channel sides, and one or more conducting clamping parts 5 of cruciform shape having lateral extensions 6 cooperable with the body recesses and having holes 7 which can be aligned with threaded holes 4 in the body portions 3 to receive clamping screws (not shown). Two or more terminal assemblies may be mounted on an insulating base formed with an insulating barrier between adjacent terminals (Fig. 5, not shown).
