Abstract
857,937. Watches. DUROWE A. G. June 5, 1959 [June 16, 1958], No. 19263/59. Class 139 [Also in Group XXXV] In a watch self-winding mechanism the rotor 19 which is mounted by a ball bearing 12 on a plate 10 has an internally toothed magnetisable ring 20 which on movement of the rotor drives a magnetic wheel 28 connected through a rocking bar reversing mechanism 41, 42, 43 to the winding train 48, 49, 50 of the mainspring. The magnetic wheel 28 may be replaced by a pivoted lever carrying two permanent magnets which co-operate with pole shoes carried by the rotor, the lever being connected to the winding train through a pawl and ratchet mechanism. When the mainspring is fully wound the wheel 28 or the pivoted lever are not moved by the rotor thus preventing overwinding.
