Abstract

857,923. Agricultural implements. KALLER & CO. A. B. March 29, 1957 [Dec. 11, 1956], No. 10314/57. Class 6(1). A disc cultivator comprising obliquely inclined discs 3 mounted on one or two driven axles 2 is characterized in that the plane of each disc is inclined to the plane of the other discs. As shown the discs have notched edges and the single axle 2 is driven from the power shaft of a tractor through a shaft 4, gearbox 6 and chain drive 7. The working depth of the discs is regulated by two wheels 11 which are adjusted vertically in relation to a frame 1. The cultivator is arranged to be mounted on a three point linkage of a tractor. The axle 2 may be replaced by two stub axles which are hinged to the frame and can be swung in a horizontal plane around the hinge. The discs may be formed with plain or wavy edges.
