Abstract

939,364. Agricultural implements. BIL & TRUCK A.B. May 26, 1961, No. 19166/61. Class 6(1). An implement comprises tools 19 mounted on discs 11 which are freely rotatable on a shaft 7 and are provided with projections which engage in grooves in plates 13 positively driven by the shaft 7 and yieldingly forced against the discs 11 by means of springs 16 which are each enclosed in a tubular portion 14 of plate 13 and a co-operating telescopic portion 15. The shaft 7 is driven from a gear-box 9 which may be reversed to reverse the direction of rotation of shaft 7. The gear box 9 is connected to the tractor power shaft through a carden shaft 3 which allows the shaft 7 to be placed obliquely with respect to the direction of movement of the machine. The shaft 7 is mounted in a frame 4 attached to the tractor hydraulically adjustable suspension device 2.
