857,776. Valves. GASKELL & CHAMBERS Ltd., [trading as NON-DRIP MEASURE CO.]. May 2, 1958 [May 13, 1957], No. 15148/57. Class 135. A liquid dispensing apparatus includes the discharge valve disclosed in Specification 803,438 and a pressure regulating valve in the same housing. The pressure regulating valve comprises a piston-like closure member 9, 9a having a bore 10 and biased away from the seat 12 by an adjustable spring 14. The seat 12 is provided with liquid passages 13. The member 9 has ports 11 leading to external circumferential grooves which permit sufficient seepage of liquid to prevent the valve closure member 9 from sticking in the sleeve 8.
