Abstract

850,261. Air filters. TATRA NARODNI PODNIK. April 28, 1959 [May 27, 1958], No. 14509/59. Class 8(2). Rotation of an inward flow filter drum 2 about an axis 3 and through which air is drawn by a suction fan 1 which discharges coolant air for an I.C engine is effected by a turbine 5 the blades 4 oj which are connected to the drum 2. A lowermost por tion of drum is cleaned by a reverse flow of air througl a nozzle 7 located between said drum portion and an imperforate baffle 6 serving to isolate the drum portion being cleaned from the suction fan 1.
