Class 3(2) [Also in Group XX] An illuminated box sign incorporates a curved reflector 11, 26 which is moulded from synthetic plastic material and given a predetermined curvature in order to secure uniform illumination of the display matter. The reflector may be made of suitable reflecting material or else covered with metal foil. A bank of lamps or a fluorescent lamp 20 controlled by a switch 31 is provided together with a wire support 33, 34 which is pivoted to the box in order to retain same in the vertical or horizontal position, 38 being a locking device for said support. Transparencies or translucencies 45 are mounted on or in the place of the glass panel 15 and may be provided with opaque light-reflecting portions 46 on their rear.
