842,300. Locating sources of radiation. AEROJET - GENERAL CORPORATION. June 25, 1958, No. 20434/58. Class 40(3). In a device for locating a distant source of radiation, inclined mirrors 5, 14 are mounted on a shaft 2 driven by a motor 3 and radiation 16 is focused by a lens 6 carried by the mirror on to photo-cells 7a, 7c, &c., connected through an amplifier 8 to lamps 1 1a, 11c, &c., light from which passes through slits 13a, &c., in a fixed shield 12 and is reflected by mirror 14 to an eyepiece 15. The position of the intersection of the slit images indicates the direction of the radiation source. All the photo-cells may be connected to all the lamps or they may be connected individually.
