Abstract

898,007. Viewing devices. LAUBMAN & PANK Ltd. Dec. 18, 1958 [Dec. 24, 1957], No. 40900/58. Class 97(1). An optical magnifying system comprises a beam splitter 4 which reflects rays from an object disposed in a window 3 to a concave reflector 6 so that an enlarged virtual image of the object is formed behind the concave reflector and can be viewed through the beam splitter 4. The beam splitter and reflector are mounted in a housing 1 provided with the window 3 and including a strip lamp 8 and cylindrical condenser 9 for illuminating the object.
