Abstract

838,959. Electromagnetic switches; contactmembers for switches. BERNIER, R. Feb. 25, 1958 [Feb. 28, 1957], No. 5990/58. Class 38 (5). A contact-carrying insulating block 13 is supported on the armature 6 by a gudgeon pin 14 and located by a hole and projection 18. The block is assembled by passing the gudgeon pin through slightly larger apertures in the armature and block from beneath and forcing a spring 19 over the conical head 17. Alternatively, a cylindrical spring may be employed having its top coil tightened to lodge in an annular groove in the gudgeon pin.
