838,825. Attaching yarn to twisting- spindles. ALGEMENE KUNSTZIJDE UNIE N. V. Dec. 10, 1956 [Dec. 29, 1955], No 37712/56. Class 120(2) An entraining-disc for a ring-twisting machine, especially for one in which a continuous thread of polyamide is drawn over rollers and is wound on a spool, undrawn thread being collected by a suction - device, compriss a groove 25, Fig. 3, between notched circular flanges 26, 27 to accommodate the loose end when the thread is cut and winding starts. The notches may be in oppositely-directed pairs along symmetrically-placed chords as in Fig. 2, to permit S- or Z-twisting, and those in the upper and lower flanges being parallel and joined by notches 29 in the groove to facilitate cutting the thread for removal.
