836,528. Wire &c. delivery-regulating apparatus.' ERICSSON TELEPHONES Ltd. Sept. 26, 1958, No. 30765/58. Class 120(2) Means for paying out wire &c. comprises a wire guiding member 23, 28, 35, 36 rotatably carried by a bearing 14, 15 on a stationary shaft 11, a stationary feed drum 8 carried on a base 1, and means e.g. a threaded bolt 16, for varying the friction in the bearing, which comprises a thrust washer 14 and a taper roller bearing 15, of said wire guiding member. The shaft 11 is releasably fastened to the base 1 by a collet adaptor 3, in which a cone-ended split collet 5 is positioned and manipulated by a handle 7 attached to a threaded sleeve 6.
