835,906. Securing together rotary parts. PRECISION MECANIQUE. Nov. 13, 1956 [Nov. 14, 1955], No. 34701/56. Class 80 (2). [Also in Group XXVIII] In a bayonet connection between an extension 31 of the rotating drive shaft 1 and a spring retainer cap 30 of a reciprocating pump (see Group XXVIII), the cap 30 is provided with ratchet teeth 33 and the extension 31 with grooves 35 and bevel openings 34. To connect the members the cap is pressed against spring pressure so that the teeth 33 pass through the grooves 35 and the cap is then rotated and released so that the teeth 33 engage the bevel openings 34. Specification 669,761 is referred to.
