Abstract

833,743. Discharge apparatus. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. April 20, 1956 [April 23, 1955], No. 12136/56. Class 39(1). [Also in Groups XXII and XXXVI] In a discharge tube, titanium or zirconium discs 1, 2, 3, 4 support anode 5, grid 6, cathode 7 and one end of heater 8 respectively, the other end of heater 8 being secured to disc 3. Ceramic discs 15, 16, 17 dimensioned to space the electrodes correctly, are positioned between the metal discs with interposed rings 9-14 of nickel, iron, cobalt or alloy thereof for sealing (see Group XXXVI).
