937,471. Glow discharge tubes. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. July 12, 1961 [July 15, 1960], No. 25235/61. Class 39 (1). Cold cathode glow discharge indicator tube comprises an envelope with a viewing end 16 and a base 15 holding rods 13 each coated with a layer of enamel 14 and supporting eleven anodes 12 of grid form connected in parallel and spaced by insulating rings 17 from digit-shaped cathodes 0-9 connected in parallel. Ring- shaped auxiliary anodes H 0 -H 9 are also supported on the rods 13 and are spaced from adjacent cathodes by insulating rings 18, and from adjacent anodes by insulating rings 19.
