Abstract

830,097. Valves. DOLE VALVE CO. Jan. 28, 1958 [Feb. 4, 1957], No. 2851/58. Class 135. A thermostatic valve comprising a first unitary assembly of a housing 11 forming a valve seat 12 and provided with a bridge 16, 30 supporting a piston and a cylinder thermal element 21, and a second unitary assembly comprising a valve 13 secured to a parallel-legged yoke 40 and loosely engaging the piston 27, the two assemblies being maintained in operative relation solely by a compression spring 36 extending between the bridge and free end 37 of the yoke.
