828,555. Loud-speakers. GOODMANS INDUSTRIES Ltd. Feb. 6, 1958 [Feb. 21, 1957], No. 5922/57. Class 40 (4). In a method of assembling a moving-coil loud-speaker, an annular member 1 is pressed into the central aperture of the chassis 3 and the latter into the pot magnet 2, the member 1, the chassis 3, or the pot 2 being provided with integral annular portions which are deformed radially by the insertion of the member 1 so as to lock the assembly together. In a modification (Figs. 3 to 5, not shown) the annular portion is corrugated and part of the corrugations is forced into an annular groove in the pot.
