Abstract
828,142. Windows. O'CONNOR, H. R. May 7, 1958 [May 17, 1957], No. 14602/58. Class 20(3) A double window comprises two sashes an interior sash 2 fixedly secured in the window opening 'and having a flange 14 embracing the exterior sash 5 which is releasably secured to the interior sash and supports a removable seal 26 with the window frame. Along one side the sashes are hinged together and along the remaining sides removable spigots 6 secure the sashes together. Access to the spigots is obtained by removing the seal 26 as shown in Fig. 3. A breather' tube leading to the space between the panes 19, 20 is provided on the exterior sash. The seal 26 includes a removable wedge 28.
