827,904. Seats for vehicles. BALFOUR, L. M. J. July 3, 1958 [July 11, 1957], No. 22078/57. Addition to 743,570. Class 103(2) [Also in Group XIV] In an improvement in or modification of the seat of the parent Specification the frame 10 consisting of main members 13, 14 and end frame members 19, 20 has the latter formed as metal castings with a beam part 60, front leg 61 and a rearwardly splayed rear leg 62. Members 13, 14 pass through bosses 63, 64 and a recess is left between the seat assembly and beam part 60 in which a ladder can be stored. Securing arms 26 pass through bosses 68 and an anchoring member comprises a hinged hook 29 and screwed rod 28 which passes through a slot in the lower part of arm 26 and a hole in the upper part thereof to engage a wing nut 31.
