A vehicle seat which is moveable forwardly to a tilted position comprises a base frame 1 and a seat 2, the front and rear of which is pivotably connected to the front and rear of the base frame 1 by lever arms 3 and 4 respectively, arm 4 being longer than arm 3. The base frame may be slidably mounted on rails and the seat may also be provided with a head rest.
