826,593. Fertiliser distributers. LANDBOUWWERKTUIGEN-EN MACHINEFABRIEK H. VISSERS N. V. March 25, 1958 [April 13, 1957], No. 9522/58. Class 6(1). A machine for spreading fertiliser comprises a bowl 5 mounted below a hopper 1 and provided with a rearwardly extending spout 6 which is laterally reciprocated by means of a rod 13 connected to a lever 20 secured on the shaft 3 of the bowl. To allow the bowl to move downwardly if fertiliser adheres to the lower edge of the hopper the shaft 3 is mounted in bearings 2, 4 by means of balls 17, 15 and springs 16, 14, respectively, an adjusting screw 18 being provided for adjusting the shaft and the springs. The shaft 3 is provided with a collar 19 arranged to abut against the lower face of the bearing 2 so that a minimum gap between the hopper 1 and a disc 10, adjustably mounted in the bowl 5, is maintained.
