[Also in Group VII] A mould for forming a sponge rubber sole from a rubbermix and attaching it to a moccasin type shoe comprises a base plate and upper slides 13 having vertical side walls 14 curved to form lips bounded by outwardly and upwardly bevelled surfaces 16. The bevel is cut away at the toe and heel 17 to locate the lasted shoe which closes the mould before heat is applied to vulcanise the mix. Specification 714,241 is referred to.
