Class 75(3) An ignition arrangement for gas burners (not shown) comprises a flash tube 14 extending from a gas burner to a chamber 16, an electric ignition filament 11 and a push button 8 adapted to open a gas valve 6 supplying gas to the filament 11 and to operate a switch 9 for energizing the filament 11. The gas controlled by the valve 6 and ignited by the filament is directed by a nozzle 12a into an open ended tube 16a leading to the chamber 16. A jet on the gas burner directs gas into the flash tube 14. Specification 819,201 is referred to.
