Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operability and reliability of the electronic controller for the gas burner of a bath heater by employing an integrated circuit entirely for the controlling circuit. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic holding valve is provided partitioning chamber 01 and chamber 02 respectively communicated with a gas supply source and a pilet burner. A main valve is provided partitioning chamber 02 and chamber 03 communicated with the main burner. When a starting switch operates an igniter to initiate combustion and an output voltage is generated from a thermocouple, a flame detecting circuit generates an ignition signal and a combustion signal. The ignition signal sets ignition memory circuit. The combustion signal, added with the output from an overheat preventer, actuates the electromagnetic holding valve. On the other hand, the combustion signal, compared with the ignition signal, actuates an OR circuit. Further, the combustion signal stops the operation of an intermittent signal generator (oscillator) to turn on a yellow lamp, thereby indicating that the burner is burning.
