Abstract
823,292. Inductors. ELECTRIC & MUSICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Jan. 27, 1958 [Jan. 25, 1957], No. 2687/57. Class 38 (2). [Also in Group XL (c)] In a printed circuit H.F. amplifier there is provided between the grid circuit inductance L1 and earth a further inductance L, to a tapping point on which the cathode of the valve is returned for A.C. via condenser C3. Regeneration is thereby produced to compensate for circuit losses, and more particularly, those in the inductance L1. The inductance L takes the form of a strip, so tapered that a number of equispaced tapping points P1-P5 can be provided giving equal increments of gain. The arrangement may also be used in a transistor amplifier.
