776,589. Transistor selective amplifying circuits. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. July 29, 1955 [Aug. 4, 1954], No. 22011/55. Class 40(6) In a circuit employing a capacitor C and inductor L between the emitter and base of a transistor 2 Fig. 1 tuned to the signal frequency undesired feed back is reduced by feeding part of the collector voltage across resistor R to a point between the inductor and capacitor. To overcome the effects of the stray capacity 6, Fig. 2 resistor R may be returned to a tap on the collector load 5 and a further capacitor C<SP>1</SP> may be used. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown) a small inductor is included in the base lead which also reduces the effect of the internal collector resistance and collector capacity.
