Abstract

974,105. Transistor amplifying circuits. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Aug. 16, 1961 [Sept. 12, 1960], No. 31337/60. Heading H3T. An amplifier comprises a common base connected transistor T2 having an input transistor T1 in its emitter circuit, and an emitter follower transistor T3 fed with the voltage developed across a load impedance in the collector circuit of the transistor T2. The load impedance of transistor T2 comprises series connected resistors R1, R2 and the effective load is increased by feedback through capacitor C. A resistor R3 is included to allow additional current to flow through transistor T1.
