Abstract
A mixed fertilizer containing ammonium phosphate is granulated by agitating a mixture of the ingredients in which the ammonium phosphate is present in the form of small granules which provide nuclei for the formation of mixed fertilizer granules. The ammonium phosphate granules are preferably of diameter 25-75% that of the fertilizer granules produced and may be in the range 1/4 -2\ba1/2 mm. suitably 1-1 1/2 mm. diameter, the other ingredients such as ammonium sulphate and potassium chloride being in finely divided form. The nuclei may be surrounded by an acidic matrix such as "ordinary" grade ammonium sulphate.
Manufacturing procedure of phosphate fertilizer, granulated based on enriched superphosphate (Machine-translation by Google Translate, not legally binding)
