Abstract

1327398 Dispersible manure B DEBBELER 30 Oct 1970 [30 Oct 1969] 51801/70 Heading C1B A method for producing granular manure comprises mixing at least seven parts of poultry dung with one part of unslaked calcined lime and thereafter drying the mixture over several days. Preferably one part of lime is added to approximately nine parts of poultry dung. Other fertilizing substances, for example nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus compounds, may be added. The method is claimed to be an improvement on earlier methods wherein one part of dung is mixed with one part of lime.
