Durch den trockenen Kalk, dessen Feuchtigkeit unter 5 % liegt, wird während des Vermischens die im Hühnermist befindliche Feuchtigkeit aufgesogen, wodurch sich ein trockenes krümeliges Gemisch ergibt. Der nach diesem Verfahren geschaffene streufähige · Dünger vereinigt als Hauptbestandteile Kali, Phosphor und Kalk und stellt damit einen Volldünger dar.
