Method for combating fungal diseases of plants, in particular oidium.
The invention relates to a method for controlling plant diseases which are caused by fungi, in particular against oidium. According to the invention, those gas generation residues are resp. used gas cleaning masses of the light gas production, which contain the sulfur and possibly also sulfur compounds.
The invention is based on the finding that these sulfur-containing and sulfur-containing residues are dried sharply

represent, in which the fungicidal components are evenly distributed in extremely fine form and directly diluted with partially effective diluents, whereby the mixture, which contains the individual components as a waste product, is naturally more intimate than when it is primarily produced from the individual components each of which is more valuable in itself than the waste product as such, especially when it is freed from the cyano compounds.
It is known that the used gas cleaning compounds are a widely used raw material for blood liquor production, in which the cyano compounds contained in the gas generation residues are obtained. The

processed gas generation residues, which contain the sulfur and sulfur compounds, with the use of the waste product, in which its individual components are in an intimate mixture and fine distribution, compared to the
Using the individual components in pure form, a significant saving in material is achieved with the same effectiveness.
It has already been proposed to use the cyano compounds of the used gas cleaning compound as a spray to destroy insects. For this purpose, used gas cleaning compound was mixed with quicklime and poured over water, which resulted from the action of the water. Heating takes place on the quicklime and gaseous products are developed as a result of the heating, which have an insecticidal effect.
In contrast, the invention is based on the finding that the gas generation residues used directly as a dusting agent due to their content of sulfur and

Components present in the waste product represent an effective fungicide, especially against Oidium. According to the invention, those residues from which the cyano compounds z. B. for blood liquor salt production are removed. Because the cyano compounds also form when they are present

when they are converted into gaseous products by the generation of heat, which means that their use is restricted to spraying agents.
