[Also in Groups IX and XXXIV] In a frame for spinning jute &c. having a bobbin rail carried by brackets 12, Fig. 1, reciprocated along vertical builder rods 14, an in-springing scraper-ring is provided at each end of each bracket to prevent dust getting between the rod and the bracket and jamming them. Each bracket is mounted on the corresponding rod by upper and lower bushes 18, Fig. 2; in each case the bracket projects slightly beyond the end of the bush to provide a recess 20 for a split-ring 22. The rings are kept in place by washers 24 held by screws 26, the arrangement permitting limited lateral movement according to the clearance of the bushes.
