Abstract

1330190 Bearings; resilient mountings SKF KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN GmbH 16 Dec 1970 [3 Aug 1970] 59625/70 Headings F2A and F2S A bearing unit 18 earring the shaft 20 of a spinning turbine or a spinnerette is mounted in a frame 28 by means of a bush 10, the outer surface of which is secured to the machine frame, there being a resilient member 16 secured to the inner surface of the bush and to only a portion of the outer surface of the unit so that along part of its length there is an annular space 26, between the outer surface and the resilient member or between the outer surface and the unit (Fig. 2, not shown) in order to accommodate deflection of the unit. A sleeve 12 may be interposed between the resilient member and the unit and the member vulcanized to the bush and sleeve.
