Abstract

818,451. Overhead conveyers. FISHER & LUDLOW Ltd. Jan. 7, 1957 [Jan. 10, 1956], No. 765/56. Class 104 (2). A conveyer system has wheeled trolleys 10 advanced along a base track by releasable flexible connections 11 engaging an overhead driving chain 12 and propelled up a slope 14 or controlled down a slope by a dog 19 or 24 under each trolley engaging a cross connection on an endless driving chain 17 on each inclined track. The dogs are of the form described in the Specification of 818,452. The flexible connection is connected to a mast on the trolley by a safety release device described in Specification 818,453. The Provisional Specification also refers to Specification 639,244.
