Abstract

951,583. Conveyers. F. JOS. LAMB CO. Dec. 10, 1962 [Dec. 13, 1961], No. 46439/62, Heading B7L. An arrangement for conveying cylindrical articles A along a fixed runway 12 comprises a plurality of rotatably mounted circular bristle brushes 9 which are driven in spaced relation to each other by means of an endless cable 5 and which engage the rear portions of the articles A. The brushes 9 are roller bearing mounted between a pair of brackets 6 dependingly secured to a carrier 4 having a pair of wheels 3 which run on an endless I-beam monorail 2. The runway 12 is supported beneath the monorail 2 by means of uniformly spaced brackets 11. Specification 932,594 is referred to.
