Abstract
816,063. Liquid fuel burners. NEDERGAARD, H. C. G. R. April 11, 1956, No. 11076/56. Class 75(1) In an oil burner comprising a casing 1 in which there is provided a fan 3 for blowing air to a coaxially mounted atomizer nozzle 3, and a chamber 5 having damper regulated openings 10 in the wall of the casing 1, the fan 3 and the chamber 5 are positioned between an oil pump 4 mounted in the casing 1 adjacent the fan 3 on the nozzle 13 side thereof and an electric motor 7 mounted adjacent the chamber 5 on the side remote from the nozzle 13 for driving the pump 4 and the fan 3. The air supply to a chamber 5 is controlled by an adjustable damper ring 9 provided with slip 20 between circumferential ribs 11. The motor 7 is attached by bolts to an inwardly directed flange 6 formed on the casing 1.
