Abstract

808,992. Pallets for handling loads. VICTROLEC Ltd. July 4, 1957 [July 5, 1956], No. 20810/56. Class 78 (4). A pallet for carrying coils or similar articles has a pair of parallel load bearers 13 having faces which incline downwardly and inwardly toward one another to define a cradle for receiving the article, and uprights which permit the pallets to be stacked as illustrated. The load bearers comprise angle-section members 13 resting on the horizontal flanges of transverse angle irons 12 joining the uprights. Diagonal bracing members 14 are adapted, at their inter-sections, to support a mandrel for a coil.
