Abstract

904,198. Pallets for handling loads. HALL, R. R. Dec. 11, 1958, No. 40034/58. - Class 78(4). A platform pallet has anti-friction groundengaging means. These may comprise balls mounted in part-spherical housings, or, as illustrated, castor wheels 5 (Fig. 1). In the wooden four-way entry pallet illustrated the castors 5 take into recesses 6, shown in detail in Fig. 4, when the pallets are stacked. The pallet may alternatively be formed by metal sheet as illustrated in Fig. 5.
