Class 20(2) [Also in Group XXV] A shuttering panel P Fig. 4 comprises a frame 26 of angle section to which is secured wood sheet 24 and to which is welded a channel member 27 providing a flange C for locating the panel on the shuttering supports 12, S.A. central stiffening channel is attached to the sheet 24 by one flange and at its ends to the channels 27. Panels are connected together by clips 37, Fig. 10, which bridge the flanges C of adjacent channels 27, flanges 38 engaging the edges of the flanges C and prongs 39 engaging in slots in the channels. For casting floors the panels are supported with the channels 27 resting on I-beams 12 on which they are located by pins 33 which also locate the I-beam on props S. Shuttering for the floor beams comprises sides 19 Fig. 16 and bottom 18 connected by corner supports A of W-section having welded to flanges 43, channels 44 which engage the horizontal support rail 14 and the adjustable jaws 15 of a beam clamp. Wall shuttering Figs. 14, 15 (not shown) is also described built up from panels P spaced by tie rods connected to bracing bars which rest against channels 27 and on clips 37 connecting these channels. This shuttering is supported by adjustable struts. Shuttering for columns using the usual surrounding clamps comprises corner supports A Fig. 16 for the corners, between the clamps and the shuttering. Various forms of bolts for supporting the shuttering in the set concrete are shown in Figs. 18-21 (not shown).
