Abstract

764,917. Shuttering for casting concrete in situ. ROBERTSON, A. M. April 1, 1955 [April 7, 1954], No. 10179/54. Class 20(2) A support for wall &c. shuttering 16 comprises an H-section beam 10 in which the flanges have holes in line with a gap 12 in the web to provide an aperture for a bolt 17, plates 14 being welded to the flanges on each side of the web to strengthen the beam at' this point. The bolt 17 also clamps a similar beam 10 on the other side of the wall and a strut 15 holds apart the upper ends of the beams. A single beam (Fig. 5, not shown) for supporting shuttering on one side of a wall only is clamped by a bolt screwing into a socket in the wall already cast. The support is stated to be applicable to column and beam shuttering.
