A foundation structure for a building con prises two parallel supporting beams 2 each mounted on at least two footings 1 by vertically adjustable and lockable supporting means. The footings consists of reinforced concrete blocks and the beams are connected thereto by U-shaped bolts 3 carrying connecting plates 6 supported by nuts 4. The plates 6 may be welded to the beams 2 having, if desired, reinforcing webs 7.
