Abstract
803,511. Coating by vapour deposition. ELECTRIC MUSICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. July 7, 1955 [July 27, 1954], No. 21833/54. Class 82(2) [Also in, Group XXXVI] A spongy layer of material such as antimony trisulphide, zinc selenide or cadmium sulphide is deposited on a surface by evaporation of the material in an atmosphere of xenon. The embodiment described relates to the production of a photo-conductive target electrode in an electron discharge device in Which glass end wall 2 of device 1 is provided first; with a transparent signal electrode 3 formed by a "Nesa" coating and then with spongy layer 4 by evaporation from electrically heated source 8. Specification 707,125 [Group XXXVI] is referred to.
