800,761. Lath blinds. BORLENGHI, L. Jan. 14, 1957, No. 1384/57. Class 20(3) A roller blind consists of hollow laths 1, of plastic or like material, each provided at one end of its cross-section with a flat longitudinal extension 2 ending in a bulged head 3 with edges 3a, 3b adapted to abut on to the inner surfaces of the edge 5a, 5b of a slot in the opposed end of the crosssections of the adjacent lath, the head being so shaped that due to the weight of the blind it tends to draw the edge 5a, 5b together, the lath, however, being pivotable relatively to one another on rolling up of the blind. One or more cross-pieces 4 are provided internally of the laths and openings 6 are provided in the extensions 2. In a modification, the edge 3b, 5b are set slightly below the edges 3a, 5a respectively, the laths being pivotable as shown in Fig. 6.
